It started five years ago with two ponies and a child with special needs. Today, it is a thriving facility with 10 horses and other animals that provide emotional support to young children and military veterans thanks to the efforts of local volunteers.

This was HRET’s third year attending the fall competition. Participants spanning from Chicago/Mt. Greenwood, Oak Lawn, Wheaton, LaGrange Park and Lemont joined together with performances, earning two gold, five silver and five bronze medals.
